tt30 - the young think tank of the Club of Rome is composed of independent men and women around the age of 30 (therefore tt30) who are concerned about the problems of today and committed to work towards the solution of these challenges. The think tank was founded in 2001.

tt30, from the perspective of a new generation, works out an agenda of topics that we regard as central for the future development of the world (see Web of the Problematique) and indicates possible ways how to meet those challenges of tomorrow.

tt30 is a forum provided by the Club of Rome and guided by its fundamental principles: Holistic thinking, taking a global approach and a long-term perspective.

The work of tt30 to a large extent takes place in virtual meetings and discussions. Every year, participants come together for the annual meeting. Past meetings took place in

The 2008 Annual Meeting is being held on June 13-14 in Rome.

tt30 aims at an impact in three directions:

  • On the participants by integrating them into a global network of young people committed to work toward a better future;
  • On the Club of Rome by providing it with the perspective of young people on the Problematique;
  • On the wider public by distributing its findings through this tt30 website and the media.

Inspired by the work of the global think tank, local initiatives have been founded among others in Spain, Germany, Poland and Brasil.
